Cardiovascular Surgery Center of the Clinic #122 and Rotary club 'White Nights – Saint-Petersburg' are conducting a "Health Fair"

A Health Fair was held 22 december 2007. It was the first Health Fair on the premises of our Center with the support of The Rotary Foundation and would like to become a permanent center for the fairs like this.

Cardiovascular diseases account for 55% of mortality rate in the country and over 60% in Petersburg. The Cardiovascular Surgery Center of the Clinic #122 specializes on the treatment of vascular diseases, such as pathology of carotid arteries, sores, varicose veins and the like, using the most advanced methods of the esthetic treatment of arteries. The Center, with the support of the Rotary club “White Nights” is planning to made a New Year present to the dwellers of our city – there was organized in the center an absolutely free screening of heart, arteries, carotid arteries, aorta state, low extremities arteries, cholesterol and glucose levels.. About 100 people of the age over 30 received a free consultation of such specialists as general practitioner, cardiologist, neurologist, general surgeon and vascular surgeon.

On Saturday, February 16, the Center of Vascular Surgery of the Clinical Hospital with the support of the Charity Fund of the International Rotary club 'Rotary White Nights St.Petersburg' is planning to make yet another gift to St. Petersburg citizens. The Center will host the second "Health Fair" where a visitor will be able to undergo free heart screening, the screening of blood vessels, carotid artery, veins and arteries of lower body, have a neurological check and cholesterol level check.

More than 100 people over the age of 20 will be able to have a free consultation with a GP, cardiologist, neurologist, general surgeon, vascular surgeon and a dentist. The Fair will be held from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. on the premises of the Center. Petersburg dwellers can make an appointment for a free consulation over the phone - the number is 962-92-91."
